MKG Foods is celebrating the success of its recent focus on profit sector sales to hotels, restaurants and catering specialists with its seasonal Christmas brochure and their innovative New Products Brochure full of distinctive products aimed primarily at this sector.
Star of the show was an Individual Beef Wellington which proved a convenient solution for banqueting chefs. A high quality and convenient product, the Wellington boasts a generous fillet of beef in a duxcelle of red wine, mushrooms and thyme encased in rich puff pastry.
“Our first order was for 600 portions for one catering company and at less than £5 a serving it was no surprise when that order was quickly followed by many more,” said MKG marketing executive Serena Tutt.
Caterers were encouraged to choose from a selection of new seafood starters, including a Symphony of Salmon (smoked, poached and kiln roasted) and follow it with one of four new luxury gateaux (Lemon & Raspberry, Peach & Devon Clotted Cream, Chocolate Latte and Strawberry & Belgian Chocolate, or an Individual Caramel Chocolate Truffle.
